I got the opportunity to shoot a newborn for a little while today. I am going to go back this weekend, but this is the first time I have had the camera out since last weekend. This week has been totally nuts. Does anyone else agree? I dont know whats going on but I cant wait for the weekend. Please let me know how these pictures turned out. This is my first time and I want to improve so let me have it. Thanks ladies.

The feet are great. Only thing I would have done different is used a black blanket or a white background instead. That way the focus would have been on the baby instead of the contrast between the blanket and the background. The last shot looks a little out of focus for me?

I love the feet pics the black n white is my favorite for sure. The 3rd one looks soft. Maybe try converting to bnw also. Beautiful baby.

I really like the first two - DOF is great. I also think that last one looks a little out of focus, but the composition is great! Good job - how fun to take pictures of a newborn!
I really like your focus on the feet. The face closeup looks a little soft to me, but that may be the processing.
